Jenny Friesen

Jenny Friesen is Red Tide aka The Valley Norn.

Jenny started out tattooing over 16 years ago in Saskatoon Sk, where she grew up. Opening her first Red Tide there in 2014. She moved out to the Kootenays with her family in the summer of 2021 and has finally settled and moved Red Tide out to BC permanently. Setting up shop in New Denver.

You can find her trying to make time to do sci-fi art when not working. Having a number of pieces published in a sci fi print magazine, Infinite Worlds.

Jenny specializes in custom tattoos in all styles. Realism, Japanese, illustrative, neotraditional, traditional, blackwork. She has done a lot of work with breast cancer patients with scar cover-ups and areola restorative tattoos. There isn't a style she is not able to work in. All requests are always welcome!
