Sydney Macdonald

Sydney Started Lions Lair at the early age of 18 in 2006. She grew her craft of body piercing in the West Kootenays and cultivated a community of body modification enthusiasts. 

Lions Lair is her baby and she worked all over the area, from Trail to Nelson and often in multiple cities before she could buckle down and create a single location to house various artists under the trusted name of Lions Lair. 

With a high focus on customer care, and relationships with her clients she is sure to hold your hand during and after the procedure, no matter what challenges your body is facing. She has had a critical role in creating systems for aftercare and healing that have served the community for over a decade. 

The aesthetic and vibe of Lions Lair are all a part of the growth Sydney has experienced in the industry. She surrounds herself with other body modification artists at the peak of their careers so everyone is pushing and supporting one another personally and professionally.   

When she isn't in the shop you can be sure she is barefoot living in the mountains, dunking in the river all year around and treating her puppies as though they are gods.
